Clearviews is a small independent Bed and Breakfast, situated in the tiny village of Carsethorn on the Solway Coast, in Dumfries and Galloway.

Being small means we can give our guests the attention we feel they deserve.

Guests can enjoy the sea air from our private beach garden and stroll from the house for miles on the deserted seashore collecting fossils, bird watching or just soaking up the serenity of this wonderful place .

The Steamboat Inn is a friendly local pub which serves bar food and is only a few yards stroll along the beach at the end of the village.

The village of Carsethorn sits within the Scottish Natural Heritage, Nith Estuary National Scenic Area, one of only 40 in Scotland and is an area of outstanding natural beauty. Part of the shoreline is also a Site of Special Scientific Interest due to the rich diversity of wildlife it supports.
